Perfect Sushi Rice
Master the foundation of great sushi with perfectly seasoned rice.

Ingredients
- • 2 cups sushi rice
- • 2 cups water
- • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- • 2 tbsp sugar
- • 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- 1Rinse rice until water runs clear.
- 2Cook rice with water in rice cooker or pot.
- 3Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl.
- 4Transfer cooked rice to a wooden bowl.
- 5Fold in vinegar mixture gently with a paddle.
- 6Fan the rice while mixing to cool it.
- 7Cover with damp cloth until ready to use.
